Job Description
As a Sr. Staff TPM on the R&D Regulatory Compliance team, you will lead cross-functional programs that ensure LinkedIn’s product development aligns with global regulations and internal standards for responsible innovation. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, Trust, and Policy teams to drive execution across high-impact areas such as AI, privacy, Trust, and security.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, has a strong technical and operational mindset, and is passionate about enabling compliant and ethical innovation at scale.
Responsibilities:
Program Execution & Delivery
- Lead execution of regulatory compliance programs across multiple product and engineering teams.
- Define program scope, success metrics, and delivery plans; manage timelines and dependencies.
- Track progress through dashboards and reporting mechanisms; escalate risks and drive resolution paths.
- Facilitate operating reviews and ensure accountability across stakeholders.
Regulatory Enablement
- Translate regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, DSA, AI Act) into actionable product and engineering strategies and roadmaps.
- Support development of governance frameworks including risk assessments, controls, and oversight mechanisms.
- Partner with Legal and Policy teams to ensure ongoing regulatory readiness and alignment with innovation priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships across Engineering, Product, Legal, and Trust to align on goals and execution.
- Coordinate working groups and decision-making forums to accelerate delivery and remove blockers.
- Communicate program status and risks to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Operational Excellence
- Improve and scale program management processes and tools to support compliance initiatives.
- Contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor peers and support team development through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in technical program management
- Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, privacy or risk functions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the technology industry.
- Familiarity with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, DSA, AI Act).
- Experience leading cross-functional programs involving Legal, R&D, Policy, and Operations.
- Experience with governance frameworks, risk assessments, and control programs.
- Background in product operations, strategic consulting, or business management.
- Certifications in compliance or data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM)
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory guidance into clear execution plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $166,000 - $271,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
