As a Strategic Account Manager, you'll support Questex's success by being a strategic marketing consultant to your clients to help achieve their marketing objectives.  The ideal candidate has experience working with clients on B2B marketing or events.

As our Strategic Account Manager, you’ll support Questex’s success by:  

  • Develops relationships for a targeted list of top priority accounts (those accounts with revenue exceeding $100K annually) and other clearly identified growth accounts with strategic development potential within the market, with Senior Client Leaders, particularly C-level and other key executives, decision makers, and other client influencers. Utilize deep client knowledge and relationships to promote solutions with key client decision makers.
  • Achieves fiscal year revenue and business goals with the assigned accounts.
  • Employs proven account management practices to serve the client, including account planning, client procurement, meeting follow-up, pipeline development, opportunity pursuit, contract negotiation, risk management, proposal and Statement of Work development, and revenue attainment.
  • Builds sufficient pipeline of opportunities with the client to achieve client service revenue plan.
  • Leads the pursuit of opportunities, proposal development/presentation, and risk management.
  • Serves as the primary “face of the company” to the client and take responsibility for client satisfaction.
  • Strives to exceed expectations with every client with the goal that every client is willing to serve as a high- quality reference for the company.
  • Provides feedback to leadership on market opportunities, areas for investment, and quality growth initiatives.
  • Contributes to building and implementing a “best of breed” go-to-market infrastructure for the market, helping to set standards and share knowledge, methods, and best practices.

Your Experience And Education Include:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated successful business and management experience in high-end major national/global accounts.
