Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

 In-house implementation of occupational health and safety

• Work closely with relevant functions to implement applicable occupational health and safety practices in operations in order to reduce and prevent recurrence of near-missed incidents and accidents
• Arrange an annual workshop/sessions to enhance occupational health and safety capability of relevant colleagues
• Develop and maintain systematic database to capture needed occupational health and safety indicators for reporting purpose

Educate, assess, audit and improve tier 1 and non-tier 1 suppliers’ performance on occupational health and safety

• Arrange educational workshops on occupational health and safety for targeted suppliers
• Maintain online occupational health and safety assessment of targeted suppliers
• On-site/remotely audit targeted suppliers on occupational health and safety with issued improvement plans where needed
• Regularly follow up and cooperate with targeted suppliers to continually improve their occupational health and safety non-conformities

Update on applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations and standards

·       Keep up-to-date applicable occupational health and safety laws, regulations and standards to ensure company’s and its suppliers’ compliances and continual improvement against those laws, regulations and standards

 Initiation of occupational health and safety models/kits

·       Devise practical models/kits or applicable tools of occupational health and safety practices that can be rolled out to other regions and other relevant target groups in order to expand reporting scope
