Job Overview

The Senior Financial Systems Administrator is a strategic position within the Digital Technology Services department, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the healthcare system’s financial software platforms. This role will demonstrate expert-level knowledge in financial systems administration and healthcare finance operations. Responsibilities include planning and implementing financial system enhancements, coordinating upgrades and integrations, resolving system issues, and advising stakeholders on financial technology optimizations. The Senior Financial Systems Administrator will collaborate with Finance, IT leadership, and operational teams, requiring exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to cross-functional teamwork.

What You Will Do

  • Partner with Finance and IT leadership to understand strategic financial initiatives and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Infor and related financial technologies, staying current with emerging trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement financial system configurations that support budgeting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and supply chain operations.
  • Ensure financial systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational policies and best practices.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to finance and IT teams on system usage, reporting, and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system standards, workflows, and best practices.
  • Lead financial system upgrades, integrations, and testing efforts in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
  • Analyze financial data flows and troubleshoot system issues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Serve as a liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors to support system performance and strategic goals.
  • Provide project leadership for financial system initiatives and enhancements.

What You Will Need

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. Required

Experience

  • Proven experience managing and supporting complex financial systems in a healthcare environment. Required
  • Minimum of five years’ experience with Infor or similar ERP platforms, with demonstrated expertise in financial modules. Required

  • Ability to interpret financial reports, regulatory guidelines, and technical documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in analyzing financial data and system performance metrics.
