The Role
Bring your talent & passion for gardening to Merivale's growing portfolio of venues across Sydney & surrounds. As our Horticulture Supervisor you will be safeguarding the brand's aesthetic vision, guiding the team to ensure each venue expresses its unique character while maintaining a consistent standard of excellence. You are also responsible for overseeing the activities and efficiency of horticultural operations including:

  • Lead, motivate and support horticulture team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Plan and manage staff schedules, resources, and day-to-day site operations.
  • Train, educate and provide ad-hoc support and clarity to team members.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards are met.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
  • Monitor operational performance, budgets, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentor your team, fostering growth and professional success.

About You
Ideally, you will have proven supervisory and/or leadership experience in horticulture and/or weed/pest management and the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communicator with a focus on building positive client relationships.
  • Confident in reporting on budgets, performance metrics, and outcomes.
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example.
  • Relevant industry qualifications and/or licences (highly regarded).
  • Current driver’s licence (essential).
