Summary

SVI, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking a qualified Director for the Zahl Maintenance contract in Adelphi, MD.  The Director will manage the development and implementation process of the organization’s services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing tasks. Develops work breakdown structures, helps identify resource conflicts, manages schedule risks, ensures deliverables schedule is met and interacts directly with the customer.

Wage/Salary: $130K - $145K

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • • Team Leadership and Human Resources Management:
  • Manage HR aspects such as staffing, performance, and training compliance.
  • • Compliance and Training Coordination:
  • Ensure team compliance with regulatory training standards and certifications and other relevant industry guidelines.
  • • Strategic Direction and Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with risk management priorities, advising on best practices and industry standards.
  • • Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports to government leads, conduct project status meetings, and maintain transparent communication across organizational levels.
  • • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with government leads and other stakeholders, supporting team and project objectives.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, risk management, or a related field with a focus on facility maintenance and compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and time management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

·         Facility maintenance experience with the DoD preferred.

Work Environment

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting.

Supervisory Responsibilities

·         Supervises a team of a variety of maintenance professionals.

Additional Qualifying Factors

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
