Senior Android Developer (f/m/d)

ZEAL Network SE is a leading international provider of online lottery products, operating for over 20 years with brands like LOTTO24 and Tipp24. As Germany’s largest digital lottery operator and a trusted partner of Spain’s ONCE, we are passionate about shaping the future of lottery experiences.

ZEAL Iberia, S.L.U., a leading Company in the management of Lotteries through Internet, has a contract with ONCE to provide Marketing Services to manage and maximize the sales and results of the JuegosONCE website (www.juegosonce.es) as well as other digital channels (i.e. mobile, apps).

We are currently looking for a Senior Android Developer (f/m/d) to join our newly created apps development team, and our efforts on providing world-class, unforgettable digital experience to the customers of the new JuegosONCE app.

Your Tasks:

• Develop and deliver functional solutions with high-quality designs and clean code
• Write code that follows architecture guidelines, coding standards, and environment configuration best practices
• Take end-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle together with your team: from development and testing to deployment, operations, and monitoring
• Share your expertise through code reviews and pair programming

What You Offer Us:

• 4+ years’ experience in Android development (Kotlin & Jetpack / Jetpack Compose, JSON, REST).
• Experience using MVVM and familiarity with other Android architecture patterns.
• A good understanding of Android UX/UI guidelines and best practices.
• Experience writing apps using Kotlin and Jetpack.
• Flair for clean code, testability, reusability, and readability (SOLID, TDD).
• Experience in writing User Interface Tests using Espresso.
• Solid understanding and practical knowledge of the full mobile development and application lifecycle.
• Experience with mobile development issues related to performance optimization, caching, security, and native components / SDKs.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Spanish and English.
• An additional plus: knowledge of iOS development tools.
