In This Role
You will be a key contributor to the engineering operations of enterprise-grade cloud applications, helping mature DevOps infrastructure from private preview into a production-ready environment. This role offers the opportunity to design and scale CI/CD pipelines, embed security and compliance into every stage of the software lifecycle, and ensure high availability and resiliency across mission-critical services. You will partner closely with development teams to enable velocity while maintaining operational excellence, compliance, and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET and React-based applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Bicep, ARM, or Azure CLI.
- Manage deployments across multiple regions in Azure, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and operational standards.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for critical applications.
- Partner with development teams to embed DevSecOps practices across the engineering lifecycle.
- Drive improvements in scalability, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Define and enforce standards, documentation, and best practices for deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and resolve critical incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Functions, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, SQL Database, Event Grid/Service Bus, etc.).
- Proficiency with CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Bicep, ARM).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging frameworks (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or supporting enterprise-grade SaaS or First Party cloud applications.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $45.67 to $50.48 USD/ph. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
