Your Role:
As part of the global Electronics Product Stewardship organization, you will be in charge of ensuring the marketability of our Semiconductor Solutions portfolio from a regulatory perspective in a highly motivated and experienced expert team. You are responsible for the effective implementation of requirements derived from chemical regulations, such as REACH registrations (in the EU and UK). Additionally, providing regulatory support to the business in new product development, as well as handling customer requests, is part of your responsibilities. A sound knowledge of other regulations, such as regulations affecting devices (e.g., SCIP, WEEE,…) or Dangerous Goods, would be highly appreciated. The complex tasks require a close and interdisciplinary co-operation with the global team, the business, and other functions, as well as communication with external partners, associations, authorities, and customers.
Insights into the specific regulatory needs and challenges in the Semiconductor industry are beneficial.
Who You Are:
- You hold a degree in Natural Sciences, with a strong foundation in chemistry, (eco)toxicology, and environmental fate.
- You possess comprehensive knowledge of key EU chemical regulations pertinent to the semiconductor industry.
- You are familiar with regulations governing devices (e.g., Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), RoHS) and Dangerous Goods.
- You understand the semiconductor business needs and demonstrate strategic thinking.
- You are fluent in both English and German, enabling effective communication in diverse environments.
- You have strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and data analytics.
- Your project management skills, collaborative spirit, and exceptional communication abilities make you a reliable and customer-oriented team member.
