As a Technical Application Lead, Chromatography, you will play a key role in driving business growth across South East Asia, Taiwan, and Oceania by combining deep technical expertise in protein purification with strong customer engagement skills. You will partner with biopharmaceutical customers to understand their downstream processing needs and deliver tailored chromatography solutions that add value to their processes.
This role also involves supporting other downstream technologies, such as filtration, particularly within the Singapore market, ensuring customers receive comprehensive technical solutions for their process development and manufacturing challenges. You will manage sales opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and provide expert guidance on chromatography and related downstream technologies. Working closely with cross-functional colleagues—including Account Manager, Global Product Managers, and MSAT—you will help shape customer success and expand our portfolio presence in the region.
The role is open for individual in APAC Region to apply, and will be based in Singapore.
Your Role:
- Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales targets for chromatography and other downstream solutions across SEA, Taiwan, and Oceania.
- Engage with customers at both scientific and business levels to identify needs, deliver technical presentations, and provide application-based recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions to showcase the value of chromatography and filtration technologies.
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle, including lead follow-up, and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align customer insights with portfolio strategy and commercial initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in downstream purification and filtration technologies.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience in biopharmaceutical process development, manufacturing or related fields.
- Proven hands-on expertise or advanced technical knowledge in protein-based separation using chromatography techniques (e.g. affinity, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction etc.).
- Strong understanding of downstream processing principles, with the ability to apply chromatography strategies for protein purification and process optimization
- Experience in customer-facing roles or equivalent experience requiring strong stakeholder interaction and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both scientific and business audiences.
- Experience conducting technical training or workshops for customers or internal teams.
- Exposure to commercial processes such as opportunity follow-up or customer engagement.
- Experience and knowledge in other biopharma downstream technologies such as sterile filtration, depth filtration for clarification, tangential flow filtration and virus removal.
