Job Description

Bosch Digital Americas is looking for an enthusiastic Communications & Marketing Intern to support our internal IT organization. Working alongside the Communications Marketing team in the US, you will support the customer strategy, content creation, and employee engagement events throughout the Bosch Digital organization.   

During your internship, you will be supporting the development of effective marketing of the IT portfolio to various business divisions and regions under the Bosch umbrella. This role will work with and support MarCom colleagues in the US, Mexico, and Brazil to align the Americas region with the global marketing/communication organizations, processes, events, and content.  

We are looking for an intern to focus on the following tasks:  

  • Develop communication materials and internal collateral that is highly visual, dynamic and intuitive 
  • Write, proofread and edit various communications for spelling, grammar, consistency with our brand, editorial style and best practices for communication 
  • Design and develop content for marketing and internal communications materials, using appealing graphics that are well organized (i.e., digital screens, short videos, infographics) 
  • Assist with logistics and production elements for in-person and virtual events & meetings 
  • Actively manage internal communities for the Americas 
  • Support internal product marketing initiatives and campaigns 
  • Assist with ongoing customer engagement activities 

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate student (Junior/Senior) or recent graduate with a major in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field 
  • Experience related to project management and event planning (i.e. Plan, prioritize, and allocate work for others, managing event logistics).  
  • Confidence to self-start communications/marketing plans and strategies to further the business and customer value.  
  • Excellent content creation skills across various mediums (print, social media, blogs, etc.)  
  • Competence in creating, measuring and analyzing key metrics to grow and improve effectiveness of and stakeholder buy-in to the strategy.   
  • Working knowledge of content creation platforms and video editing, including but not limited to Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro and Photoshop) and Canva.

  • To qualify for Bosch’s Domestic Internship Program, you must:
  • Be a full-time student or recent graduate (<6 months) at an accredited university.
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in a degree program.
  • Be able to work at least 40 hours per week (full-time) during summer break and part-time during the school year.
  • Be able to work from the Mt. Prospect location 60% of the work week.
  • Not now or in the future require sponsorship including CPT/OPT
