About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and globally minded International HR Partner to help us shape the future of our international workforce. Based in Amsterdam, you’ll play a dual role: driving the hands-on operational excellence needed to keep our HR foundations strong, while also serving as a strategic advisor to managers on people, performance, and organizational development.
This is a unique opportunity to become the cornerstone of our International People team, with a strong focus on the Netherlands and growing influence across multiple global markets. What You’Ll Do
Hr Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, guiding them on employee relations, disciplinary processes, and performance management across many international locations. Priority is strong experience with Dutch law and local best practices and then familiarity with or willingness to learn and adapt practices for international locations in the UK, EMEA, and APJ.
- Provide coaching and development support to leaders, helping them build strong, people-first leadership skills.
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, ensuring the employee experience is positive, inclusive, and aligned with company values.
- Spot emerging people trends and recommend proactive solutions to boost engagement, retention, and organizational growth.
- Projects & International Collaboration
- Adapt and localize global HR policies to meet Dutch, UK, EU, and other international compliance standards.
- Lead or contribute to strategic HR initiatives like compensation benchmarking, policy harmonization, and engagement programs.
- Partner with colleagues across regions to scale HR processes internationally, bringing deep expertise in Dutch employment law and experience across other international markets.
Hr Operations
- Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle for international employees (with emphasis on the Netherlands), including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and compliance.
- Guide employees and managers on statutory entitlements such as holidays, sick leave, parental leave, and dismissal procedures.
- Manage HR systems and records in line with GDPR and local compliance requirements.
- Partner with external payroll and benefits providers to ensure accuracy and compliance across multiple countries.
- Oversee visa and work permit processes (including highly skilled migrant applications) in partnership with advisors.

What You’Ll Bring
- 5+ years of HR Generalist / HRBP experience, with hands-on expertise in the Netherlands.
- In-depth knowledge of Dutch labor law, Works Councils, collective agreements, and dismissal processes.
- A strong track record of advising managers on performance, employee relations, and change management.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
- Exposure to HR practices across international markets (UK, Germany, France, Middle East, Australia) is a strong plus.
- Fluent English required; Dutch language skills strongly preferred.
- Adaptability, resilience, and confidence in a fast-paced, scaling global environment.
