About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on, position where you will be working on site reliability, data platform operations, and systems integration.

In this role, you’ll serve as the technical lead (without managing people), focusing on making our platform reliable, scalable, and seamlessly integrated. You’ll run proof-of-concepts for new tools, recommend technology improvements, and ensure our stack stays modern and fully supported.

You’ll take ownership of the platform’s health and performance, making sure it operates smoothly and efficiently as we continue to scale.

What You’Ll Do

• Shape architecture and system design to ensure our platform is scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.
• Run proof-of-concepts (PoC)for new tools and technologies, building clear technical cases for adoption.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response, while expanding automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams to make sure everything is running smoothly and aligned with the company goals.

What You’Ll Bring

• Strong Linux Expertise

• Familiarity with cloud (ideally, AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience with technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Puppet
• Good knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Vertica, MariaDB)
• Scripting or programming experience in Perl, Python, C, Erlang, or Java.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Czech language not needed)
