So, what’s the role all about?

NICE Actimize is currently seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to join our team in Pune, India. This role focuses on customizing and implementing cloud solutions, developing next-gen tools, and defining practices that enhance the deployment and use of our SaaS offerings. If you enjoy working with intricate code, SQL procedures, and cloud architecture—and aren’t afraid to break and rebuild to innovate—this is the role for you.

How will you make an impact?

You’ll collaborate with talented architects, SMEs, and developers on cutting-edge Actimize technologies. You’ll help shape the roadmap for the team and contribute to the deployment of complex SaaS solutions in a fast-paced cloud environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing and improving software as part of an Agile team.
• Communicating with clients to analyze enhancement requirements and develop accordingly.
• Providing technical leadership across development teams.
• Offering deep technical insights into cloud software architecture.
• Ensuring high-quality deliverables through best engineering practices like unit testing, automation, code reviews, and design standards.
• Collaborating with Architects and BAs to define end-to-end technical direction including platform, tools, and infrastructure.

Have you got what it takes?

• 4 to 7 years of experience in software development.
• Complete understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 3+ years of experience leading high-performing Agile teams.
• Strong experience in SQL database development.
• Proven ability to build high-performance, scalable, and highly available systems.
• Experience with SaaS and multi-tenant software environments.
• Deep knowledge of software design patterns and their practical application.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and SALT.
• Understanding of security protocols (SAML, OAuth, JWT) and directory services/SSO.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and fluency in English.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility to work in client-required time zones, shifts, and weekends if needed.
