Your Role

As the Program Manager, you will lead teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including resource identification, schedules, financials, analysis, project design and development, testing periods, installation, and final delivery. This also includes management of issues, risks, mitigation plans, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. You will contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

Primary Functions Of The Operations Program Manager Include:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives or programs that span one or multiple lines of business to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities.
  • Work creatively and analytically to problem-solve while demonstrating teamwork and innovation.
  • Understand and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs.
  • Drive feasibility analysis, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by key stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders.
  • Hold the project team, stakeholders, and business owners accountable and aligned with project objectives and company goals
  • Build and manage a disciplined project plan and process while maintaining the ability to be agile and pivot when needed to ensure the health of the project.
  • Build and evolve playbooks, workflows, and toolkits, and other deliverables, where appropriate.
  • Cultivate deep relationships and partner with key internal and external stakeholders on building and executing on launch plan.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration or a related field is required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with project management required; an emphasis on healthcare operations is preferred
  • Process improvement and change management experience required
  • Project manager certification a plus
  • Have a solid grasp and successful application of project management principles
  • Understand the business need for each project and make on-going decisions based on what’s best for the organization - even if that means challenging senior stakeholders on critical success factors
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and the understanding that things change quickly in a startup environment which require a willingness to pivot quickly on priorities
  • You excel at time management and prioritization and can organize a large volume of complex inputs
  • You have experience working with project management tools such as SmartSheet, Asana, and/or other equivalent software
  • You are willing and able to travel to markets and our corporate office in Nashville, TN up to 20% of the time

The base pay range for this role is $115,800.00 - $136,000.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
