As Senior Marketing Manager for the New York region (covering New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania), you will craft and execute high-impact marketing strategies that strengthen Blacklane’s brand presence, attract new corporate and premium travelers, and deepen loyalty among existing clients.

This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can design campaigns that resonate with C-suite decision-makers, corporate travel managers, and high-net-worth individuals. You’ll work in close partnership with the global marketing team, ensuring that regional initiatives fuel business growth while showcasing Blacklane’s position as the trusted choice for premium, sustainable, and reliable chauffeur services.

Moreover, you'll be joining a great international team of highly talented people who are more than eager to welcome you onboard!

Your Challenge:

  • Regional Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute tailored marketing strategies to strengthen Blacklane’s footprint in New York, aligned with global brand and revenue objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of multi-channel campaigns (digital, print, events, OOH, partnerships), ensuring creative excellence and ROI.
  • Market Insights & Analytics: Analyze customer behavior, competitor activity, and industry trends. Translate insights into actionable strategies and continuously optimize performance using KPIs and ROI data.
  • Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations: Build alliances with global corporations, premium travel providers, and hospitality groups to deliver value-added services for business travelers and expand Blacklane’s reach through co-branded experiences.
  • Content & Brand Messaging: Oversee development of premium, on-brand content for digital platforms, advertising, and local activations that resonate with luxury audiences.
  • Experiential & Event Marketing: Conceptualize and deliver exclusive events, sponsorships, and activations that build brand awareness and loyalty among affluent travelers and corporate clients.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, PR, Operations, and Product to ensure integrated campaigns and consistent customer experiences. Mentor and support junior marketing talent or interns when applicable.
  • Budget & ROI Management: Own and optimize the regional marketing budget, ensuring maximum return on investment.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced certifications a plus).
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally within luxury, hospitality, mobility, or travel sectors.
  • Proven ability to create and execute region-specific marketing strategies that align with global business objectives, ideally with prior responsibility for managing a marketing budget.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong balance of creativity and data-driven decision-making to deliver impactful, measurable campaigns.
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive messaging for premium audiences.
  • Strong understanding of the New York luxury and corporate travel landscape; existing network within relevant industries is a plus.
  • Expertise across digital channels including social media, SEO, paid campaigns, CRM, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).

More Than A Job:

Blacklane is a scale-up started in 2011, founded by Jens Wohltorf and Frank Steuer who wanted to create the first global chauffeur service. We started by filling chauffeurs’ ‘empty leg’ journeys and have grown with our partners to over €100 million in annual revenue (pre-pandemic). Backed by Daimler and other investors in Germany, Japan, Switzerland, and the UAE, we’re now a trusted brand within corporate travel.

We believe in ethical business practices and have a strong company culture.

  • Continuous Learning: We believe that open and actionable feedback is the essential component of continuous development. Set your personal development plan and take an active role in our internal learning communities to progress your career.
  • Flexible Working: Even the most ambitious Blacklaner needs some time to unwind. Find out what works for you and your team with flexible working hours and home office days.
  • Become Part of the Crew: Get to know your fellow Blacklaners through our regular team socials. Our success comes from a collaboration of more than 350 people from 70 nations and we are looking for more exceptional people to join us!
  • Employee Stock Options Plan: We want all Blacklaners to benefit from the company's success, so every employee gets virtual stock options.
  • Fair Remuneration: We’ve banded salary levels and matched them to the local costs of living, meaning you’re always paid fairly and you know that the rest of the crew is too.
  • Sustainability: We care for both people and the planet, having launched the mobility's industry-first global carbon offset scheme in 2017. Blacklane has pledged to deliver 15% of its journeys in electric vehicles by 2023.
  • Equal Opportunity: We are committed to inclusion and diversity. A company is only as strong as its crew, so we developed a work environment that is inclusive, inspiring and open. All qualified applicants receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.
  • Blacklane Cares day: Every crew member receives 8 hours of paid leave per year to participate in volunteering initiatives of their choice or lead employee-driven community outreach projects. Utilize your time to lend hands to a cause that drives your passion.

The salary range for this role is $121000– $151000 annually with VSOP. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
