Location: Remote (For Non-Local) or Hybrid (Local to NYC/Denver area)
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop an analytics team to produce data-driven, actionable insights supporting various business functions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish business requirements, project scope, prioritization, and timeline
- Manage analytics task and strategy execution
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and external partners as needed to acquire and validate data to support reporting efforts
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover process optimization and automation opportunities
- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes
- Present results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, finance, and operations teams
- Support the development and implementation of quality controls and departmental standards to satisfy organizational and regulatory requirements
- Lead internal training sessions to support continued learning and development
- Responsible for the adherence to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct including reporting of noncompliance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Undergraduate bachelor’s degree, with record of strong academic performance in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, or Economics preferred (Advanced degree preferred, but not required)
- 6+ years of proven experience in data & analytics, benefits consulting, financial consulting, etc.
- 3+ years in PBM / health plan / healthcare / Medicare experience
- Experience working directly with pharmacy claims data and/or medical claims data
- Project management and client presentation experience a plus
- Experience performing complex analyses on large sets of data
- Knowledge of data management, statistics, modeling
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data
- Expert in SQL, data analysis, and data visualization
- Proficient in Python, R, or other scripting languages
- Experience with Tableau or an equivalent BI tool
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and wrangling
- History of leading high performing teams and executing analytics strategy
- Ability to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously; Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High EQ, strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including comfort and experience interfacing with internal leadership
- Extremely flexible, highly organized, and able to shift priorities easily
- Attention to detail & commitment to delivering high quality work product
