The Position
Your Opportunity:
- Manage and monitor the company's compliance with global trade regulations, including but not limited to export controls, customs regulations, sanctions, and embargoes
- Stay updated on relevant trade compliance laws and regulations, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential compliance issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement and improve trade compliance policies and procedures
- Oversee the classification of products by ensuring accurate tariff codes, export controls, and partner government agencies (PGA) information.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on trade compliance, providing training and guidance to employees across the organization
- Handle import and export licensing processes, including applications, renewals, and record keeping
- Effectively communicate with external partners, such as customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies, to ensure smooth and compliant movement of goods
- Monitor and investigate potential violations of trade compliance regulations, and assist in implementing corrective actions
Who You Are:
- BS or BA degree and at least 5 years in an import/export position or 3 years with Masters.
Knowledge/Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of global trade regulations, including export controls, customs regulations, and sanctions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Professional certifications in trade compliance (e.g., Licensed Customs Broker)
- Detailed knowledge of Roche Diagnostics products and parts thereof
- Familiarity with trade compliance software and tools
- Relocation benefits are not available for this posting

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $139,400.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
