AIRBUS COMMERCIAL IS HIRING a SCQM - Supply Chain & Quality Manager for Equipment & System, M/F

With 1800 people from 24 nationalities spread across 11 countries daily working with 3000+ suppliers to deliver 2.3 millions of parts per day to Airbus FALs & Plants, Procurement Operations is both an international and challenging environment. Our activity represents around 80% of an aircraft Value chain.
PIE department works on 3 main activities:
- Supply Management (Where quality, time and cost are our main concerns)
- Control Supplier (Where we ensure our flyable products continuously meets our Airbus Supplier’s Requirements)
- Supplier Development (Where we anticipate complex issues, mitigate risks and develop supplier’s capabilities).

The Scope Of Suppliers:
The scope of Suppliers will be on Equipment & System for Cockpit perimeter in pole - Multi Supplier B. Your portfolio will cover suppliers specializing in mechanical, filtration, and electronic fields.
Your Challenges:
You will act as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions and for SCQ operational activities.
You will be in charge of the overall performance and compliance of a given supplier or a portfolio of suppliers to ensure On Time and on Quality deliveries to our customers (Airbus plants, FAL and airlines) and will implement the Procurement strategy at tactical level.
You will work in partnership with your supplier to:
- detect Early Signals in its Supply chain (anticipation & risk management) to avoid any missing parts in our Plants & Final Assembly Lines.
- Improve its industrial maturity by applying APQP Methodology.
- Build the Supplier Prevention Plan (Quality Wall) in order to protect Airbus from supplier deviations.
- Related to Change Management, you will also support your supplier in case of :
- Improve its industrial maturity by applying APQP Methodology.

- Related to Change Management, you will also support your supplier in case of :
- Introduction of new products and programmes developments (A350 Freighter, A320 XLR…) on the Industrial and Quality aspects.
- Transfer of Work in its Supply Chain.
- Request for a new design proposal made by the supplier.
This role will involve regular travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly and practice fluent English..
Your Task & Accountabilities :
Your main tasks and activities will include:
- Contributing to Engage Suppliers : from supplier selection and contract setup, Change Request evaluation (design, industrial, quality) and contribute to deployment of SC&Q standards, Methods and Tools.
- Securing Supplier Approval and run Supplier Control Review as required in our process and by airworthiness authorities
- Managing Couple Part/Supplier site Compliance and Maturity according to the surveillance plan and verify Compliance to applicable requirements and secure convergence to industrial Maturity target.
- Managing supplier continuous improvement.
- You support internal and external audits and EASA activities
Your Boarding Pass:
- Your path or experiences are attached to Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering or Business Management Schools or University, or Master Purchasing and supply Chain (or equivalent)
- Recognized experience in one or several of those domains: Supply Chain & Quality, Manufacturing engineering, Engineering, Customer Support and Operations IS ESSENTIAL
- Knowledge in Quality management system and Supply Chain basic principles is essential (APICS Basics or equivalent)
- Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Stakeholders management, negotiation skills
- Leadership: influencing, assertiveness, ability to challenge the status quo with all hierarchical levels of a suppliers' management
- Autonomy and organization skills
- Negotiation level in English and French
