Job Description
- Support research scientists with their experiments based on company protocols, methods, and procedures.
- Run routine HPLC, UHPLC, SEC, and LC-MS analytical assays following established methods and help with routine data capture, analysis and storage.
- Run routine non-LC based assays as needed following established methods and procedures.
- Run daily performance checks using an internal standard reference for quality control.
- Perform weekly buffer preparations and daily calibration and maintenance for analytical instruments.
- Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting (hardware & software) for lab equipment.
- Assist with organizing and cleaning the lab and work environment.
- Maintain GLP and good documentation in electronic lab notebook.
- Follow safety practices.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related fields with 1-2 years of related laboratory experience.
- Detail oriented with an analytical mindset.
- Hands-on experience with pipetting and HPLC, UHPLC, and/or LC-MS.
- Understanding of industry practices and standards.
- Ability to set priorities, adapt to change, and deliver quality results in a timely manner.
- Strong scientific, computer, and organizational skills.
- Strong team orientation and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related fields with 3-4 years of related laboratory experience. Master's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related fields with 1-2 years of related laboratory experience.
- Experience with RNA and LNP analytics.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
