About The Internship:
You’ll work closely with our two Medical Oncologists and a dedicated Oncology Surgical Specialist, supported by our highly skilled nursing team, while also collaborating with other professional services across the hospital. This is a hands-on role where you’ll:
- Assist in consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, patient care and client communication
- Participate in daily hospital rounds and weekly journal clubs/case presentations
- Be encouraged to complete a published work during your internship
- If eligible, work towards ANZCVS Small Animal Medicine Membership

What We’Re Looking For:
You are a motivated, professional and enthusiastic veterinarian who:
- Is eligible for QLD veterinary registration
- Holds a current radiation licence
- Brings strong communication skills, a solid medical knowledge base, and a great work ethic
- Clinical experience is preferred but not essential
Internship Details
- Start date: January 2025
- Duration: 12 months (option to extend to 18 months)
