The Business Line (BL) Network Control (NC) Project Portfolio Group are the operational arm of the Global Operations and therefore manages the NC projects in its region APAC delivering safely and on quality revenue, GM and cash objectives as well as risks and opportunities within its region.
This role is open to be based in Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Singapore and Indonesia where our Hitachi Energy's office is present.
Successful applicants will continue to be based at their home location as listed, and no relocation is required.
How You'Ll Make An Impact:
- You will take overall Project Management & Customer facing of projects in their geography, manage business line sales and cash landings as well as overall risks and opportunities, ensure project control, procurement, logistics activities, coordinate with Engineering.
- You will be ensuring ‘One-NC’ Team culture with ‘Run it like you Own it’ mindset while understanding the ‘greater good’ approach at BU/Enterprise Software levels, main to interface with Hubs and provide engineering, planning and site management support.
- You will build and/or maintain the local NC organization, manage the team of Project Managers in the respective regions, ensuring appropriate combination of hard and soft skills in accordance with local market characteristics.
- You will provide input into the region’s annual budget and operating plans, regularly report on P&L performance and for monitoring and adjusting revenue and margin generation to meet stretch targets within its region.
- You will take accountable for the on-time & on-budget execution of the NC customer contracts in the HBU region, accountable for overall customer success, act as the first executive escalation point for customers, and determine if, when, and how to involve other levels of the organization. You will do project review in its region in line with the BU instruction.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:
- Master’s degree or Engineering degree required.
- 10 years’ related portfolio and project management experience. Minimum of 5 years in portfolio or project office leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred knowledge of Software industry, experience within a global, matrix organization are required.
- Possess excellent leadership, communication, prioritization and organizational skills. Experience with monthly and quarterly close and reporting cycles.
- Change management experience and proven delivery of change implementation, proven ability to build effective relationships at all levels across the business, able to collaborate within the broader business at a senior level & result-driven, ability to inspire, motivate and lead people to best outcomes indirectly, using influencing skills.
- Proficiency in English communication.
