The Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) develops and operates a global multi-cloud platform using Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The CCoE is part of ASML’s IT organization.

This role is part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). This teams vision is to provide a flexible and reliable automated cloud platform to enable accelerated and sustainable adoption of cloud across ASML and maximizing the ability to realize its benefits while reducing risks, supporting ASMLs growth and bring innovative cloud solutions to the teams.

Role And Responsibilities

As an Azure Solution Architect, you act as a trusted partner and consultant to DevOps teams, helping them design and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. You support their journey by co-creating architectures, sharing knowledge, aligning on joint milestone planning, educating teams on cloud cost awareness, and developing Proofs of Concept (PoCs) or Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to accelerate innovation and validate approaches.

As an Azure Solution Architect you will support DevOps teams in designing and deploying solutions on the Azure platform. You will be working in the CCoE team, an international, multi-disciplinary team consisting of approximately 75+ highly motivated professionals. In this job you will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide expertise and leadership in cloud onboarding across Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS, covering both technology and process aspects.
• Educate and guide DevOps teams in designing ASML-compliant, secure, and scalable cloud architectures tailored to their needs.
• Act as a consulting partner to DevOps teams, helping them achieve their objectives and remove roadblocks throughout their cloud journey.
• Serve as the main point of contact for DevOps teams and represent the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) as an ambassador.
• Promote cloud cost awareness and educate teams on strategies to manage and optimize cloud spend and develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) or Proofs of Value (PoVs) hands-on when needed to validate solutions or accelerate adoption.
• Identify service gaps and collaborate with the CCoE product owner to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Contribute to the design and review of cloud architectures for cloud-native and hybrid applications.
• Support DevOps teams in improving automation capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code and document the solution design and all other relevant information.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s/Master degree in IT, Business Management, Computer Science or Electronics
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure (must-have); experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience designing, configuring, and using IaaS services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), networking, and storage.
• Skilled in designing and implementing PaaS solutions including Web Apps, managed databases, Kubernetes, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Proficient in working with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based data integration patterns and modern data architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex application deployment scenarios.
• Engineering and coding experience applied in agile development environments.
• Proven track record in technical architecture design, solution definition, and managing change and risk.
• Experience working in large, international organizations or with global service providers
