Clinical Care Delivery provides high quality, patient-centered care focused on diagnosing, treating and managing care while ensuring the safety, efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.

Clinical Services are responsible for medical services that directly or indirectly provide healthcare to patients.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative and clerical skills:  Manage complex surgical calendars, coordinate schedules with multiple hospitals or facilities, and handle billing paperwork with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and organization: The Surgery scheduler is responsible for organizing vast amounts of information and ensuring every detail is correct to prevent errors or delays.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology: An essential responsibility involves coordinating with different departments and understanding surgical procedures, pre-operative testing, and insurance authorization.
  • Exceptional communication skills: The role requires strong verbal and written communication to effectively liaise between patients, surgeons, other clinical staff.
  • Experience with EHR systems: Proficiency with electronic health records , particularly for managing patient information and documenting procedures, is required. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, highly preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Selects correct processes from prescribed rules or guidelines
  • Work is closely managed and follows detailed instructions

Anticipated hourly range: $21.00 per hour - $25.51 per hour
