Job Details:

• Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
• Work Schedule: 5 pm – 2 am or until the end of the shift.

Summary:
This position is responsible for conducting physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, accurately documenting and calculating results, and taking corrective actions when necessary. Responsibilities include alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management. Additional assignments may be requested. All team members are responsible for ensuring safety, including personal safety and food safety.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Fresh Meats industry or other QA-related experience required.
• Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Special Skills:
• Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more).
• Supervisory: None.
• Travel: None.
• Ability to complete Tyson paperwork.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
• Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
• Math and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
• Must function well under stress.
• Flexibility to work where and when needed.
