Opportunities Available

In your role, you will work with a variety of technology-focused teams, using your expertise to influence long range goals at Stryker. Contributing ideas from early product concepts through launch, you will generate creative solutions that enhance the user experience of our products. You will be responsible for the definition, design, and documentation of all user-experience related aspects of the product user interface as well as off product web and mobile applications. You will complete and own design deliverables, including conceptual models, user journeys/flows, wireframes, interaction designs, and prototypes. You will be an advocate for the end user of our products, partnering closely with industrial design, human factors, marketing, clinical, and software engineering teams to implement and test designed interfaces. Although collaboration is key, you will also work independently at times, documenting, implementing, and troubleshooting as you ensure deliverables and work products meet and exceed our high standards.

Majors Targeted: UX/UI, Graphic Design, Software Engineering

What You Need​​

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.​
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.​
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
