The Role
Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure – good at providing analysis, documenting and diagraming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally “figuring it out.” This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.
Key responsibilities:
Design and implement automation workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
• Develop custom integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using Go and Python.
• Build and maintain microservices and backend automation scripts to support IT operations and service delivery.
• Automate routine tasks, incident response, and change management processes across ITSM.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of automation solutions.
• Document automation designs, test cases, and deployment procedures.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:
Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and scoped applications
Automate ITSM processes including incident, change, request, and problem management
Integrate ServiceNow with external platforms via REST/SOAP APIs to enable end-to-end automation
Configure SLAs, approval workflows, auto-assignment rules, and business logic
Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to embed automation into CI/CD pipelines
Monitor system logs, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with OEMs for resolution of P1–P4 incidents
Recommend platform enhancements and modernization strategies aligned with business goals.
Mentor junior developers and enforce development standards and governance.
5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and automation
Strong expertise in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow Studio
Proven experience with ITSM, ITOM, and custom scoped applications
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Agile delivery
Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Golang Programming Language.
Preferred Technical and Professional Certification.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (ITSM or ITOM)
ITIL Foundation or higher
