Senior Quality Engineer

What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join Retail Investments Platform within Core Banking Technology. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our advisor and client facing applications. This role will be responsible for all aspects of testing within the product group with the focus in automation to enable greater test coverage and faster delivery. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that exceed user expectations.

What will you do?

• Lead end-to-end testing efforts, including functional, integration, automation and regression.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and identify edge cases.
• Perform API and contract level testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured to ensure seamless backend/frontend integrations.
• Design and implement reusable automation solutions that meet test coverage needs and elevates operational efficiencies.
• Build integration of adopted test automation into DevOps pipeline to achieve “no-touch” software delivery into production
• Adopt emerging technologies, testing tools, and industry standards that elevate safety & soundness aspect of changes.
• Have experience in leveraging GenAI for quality engineering
• Jenkins based orchestration of Automated Test Coverage in CI/CD Pipelines
• Static and dynamic code scanning
• Integration of testing automation tools (LeanFT, SOAP UI, Selenium, Robot)
• Other additional capabilities as recommended by DevOps and Quality Engineering Experience teams

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have

• Test Management Tools

• Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related (technical) degree/diploma
• 5+ years in the field of Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance
• Hands-on experience in test case design and test automation
• Experience in API/contract based testing
• Experience with Source Control systems eg. Git
• Experience with non-functional testing: Performance, UI/UX, Accessibility
• Performance Testing/Performance monitoring tools (JMeter, Dynatrace)
• Agile delivery methodologies, frameworks and best practices and DevOps pipelines

Nice-To-Have

• Knowledge in investment products like mutual funds and GICs
• Working experience in another financial institutions
