We are seeking a reliable and experienced LTL Carrier Road Driver to join our growing team in Effingham, IL. This position offers the benefit of being home every night, with a steady income of $1,500 - $1,600 gross per week. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, managing both driving responsibilities and dock work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments to and from various locations within the assigned region
• Perform dock work, including loading/unloading freight
• Operate a forklift as part of your duties at the dock
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of freight, following all safety protocols and procedures
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding hours of service
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, vehicle inspections, and any other required documentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

• Must have a valid CDL-A license
• Minimum 6 months of recent driving experience
• Forklift experience is required (certification preferred)
• Ability to handle 10-12 hour shifts, with start times around 6:30 PM
• Must be able to perform dock work, including loading and unloading freight
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical
• Clean driving record
