Are you ready to lead a strategic procurement transformation programme?
We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Transformation Lead to drive the implementation of a modern, AI-supported, end-to-end procurement system that will redefine how we deliver value across the organisation.
Mō te tūranga | About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Procurement, as the Procurement Transformation Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of a strategic programme designed to revolutionise procurement through the use of advanced AI capabilities. You’ll take charge of selecting and procuring a new platform solution, as well as identifying the right system integration partner to support its implementation. Working closely with the Programme Delivery team, you’ll ensure that the business case outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.
Alongside this, you’ll lead a cross-functional team of procurement experts and play a key role in managing organisational change to embed new ways of working across the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Own and align the transformation programme with procurement’s strategic goals.
- Redesign and optimise procurement processes for future-fit operations.
- Drive stakeholder engagement across Procurement, Technology, Finance, and Business Units.
- Manage change enablement, training, communications, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure delivery of business case outcomes and sustained benefits.

- 10+ years’ experience in procurement across sourcing, supplier management, purchasing, and systems.
- Proven success in leading procurement transformation in complex environments (banking preferred).
- Familiarity with generative and agentic AI in procurement contexts.
- Strong programme/project management and change leadership skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
- Financial modelling and budgeting expertise for large-scale projects.
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership and resilience.
- Collaborative and adaptable in dynamic environments.
- Committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
