Vm Operations Manager, Region North

About The Role

The PVH Visual Merchandising team is responsible for creating and implementing the amazing visual displays we see in our showrooms, at events and in our stores across the whole of Region North. They function as brand guardians, maintaining the look and feel whilst protecting the strong visual and globally recognised brand aesthetics so many of us have come to identify with so well.

The VM Communications Manager, Region North role will strategically connect and collaborate closely with three other sub teams & two brand Managers within the Visual Merchandising team for hub North, reporting to the Visual Merchandising Director, hub North.

The main objective is to support the field team with operational tasks & guidelines on a daily basis, delivering a consistent & effective communication strategy with a structured approach across the region; this includes all digital communication, operations, budget management, guidelines, POS/campaign change outs, consumer messaging, seasonal training and special events.

Responsibilities Include:

Communications

  • Drive the Region North visual calendar and deliver accurate timely communication on all visual merchandising, display, and windows for all divisions to VM Managers, field partners, store teams and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver communication tools to the Visual Merchandising team including weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual updates across the region.
  • Manage the seasonal campaign images and collateral roll outs for the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands for Hub North, working in close collaboration with EMEA (where applicable) plus the Hub North VM & brand Managers.
  • Supporting the seasonal in-store POS and consumer messaging rollouts for the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein brands for hub North, working in close collaboration with the VM Managers, central and local teams; this can include artwork, production, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with the field teams in the UK, Ireland, Nordics, and Netherlands, ensuring consumer messaging is in line with the regional strategy and continuously optimising Point of Sale (POS) kits and materials based on the business needs.
  • Partner closely with the Visual Merchandising Director and Senior comms lead on communication templates, best practice guidelines, and monitoring reports
  • Drive innovation, best practice and leading by example.
  • Manage external suppliers, keeping a competitive, up to date & relevant portfolio.
  • Build a strong working relationship with all internal stakeholders (Merchandising, Planning, retail, WS, Brand/Marketing, EMEA and Omni-channel teams) to deliver and meet Visual Merchandising expectations and strategy.

Events And Operations

  • Support Visual Merchandising related seasonal events in collaboration with all pillars of the VM, Display, and Windows team including all physical or virtual kick offs including seasonal Kick Offs and Model store.
  • Drive and implement VM operations strategy across Region North
  • Support with the creation of digital and physical VM training/learning for Region North
  • Ensure StorIQ & similar platforms information is uploaded and checked regularly, reporting to the VM director as required.
  • Develop guidelines, including creation and use of matter port 360 filming.
  • Report on trade, compliance and providing local photo reporting.
  • Manage local Visual Merchandising database and team communications across hub North.
  • Support in managing the VM budgets in collaboration with Visual Merchandising Director, VM Managers and Finance team for seasonal events, model stores, systems/software, Tommy Hilfiger in-store POS and Calvin Klein consumer messaging across all channels including recharges.

About You

  • You have a minimum of 2-4 years of Visual Merchandising or similar experience, with at least 1 year as a communications lead (or similar role)
  • You have experience in digital communication/operations/fashion or retail management.
  • You have experience and a proven record of accomplishment in delivering professional communication tools, delivering highly effective materials, managing people and projects.
  • You have strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, Adapt Fast and work under pressure.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • You Connect to Consumers with your strong fashion affinity and relevant awareness of the retail/communication industries.
  • Expert or good knowledge in Abode creative programs/ sketch up / MS office etc.
  • You Stay Curious, Act with Purpose, and can manage and multi-task between projects and work streams.
  • You have the ability to be self-reliant and comfortable with Making Informed Decisions
  • You have the ability to delegate and follow-up with a good sense of people’s judgement.
  • You have the ability to lead by example and Inspire Trust through best practice.
  • You have experience with digital and design communication.
  • You preferably have experience in Retail and Wholesale fields.
