The Senior Director, Mergers, Acquisitions & Divestitures (MA&D) leads the strategic and operational delivery of all GP&T-related activities for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MA&D), ensuring seamless integration and separation of technology and data capabilities. This enterprise, global role is accountable for building scalable MA&D capabilities, delivering against critical milestones, and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture aligned with GSK’s values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Tech & Data MA&D lead, accountable for planning, governance, and execution across all acquisition and divestiture initiatives.
  • Govern the portfolio of MA&D activities, ensuring 100% milestone achievement on time, budget & with quality.
  • Develop & implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during integration.
  • Ensure high-quality delivery through collaboration and best practice sharing across Facilities, Tech, Data, and the external partner ecosystem.
  • Identify potential risks early in the integration process and develop mitigation plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of integration projects. Set targets for cost savings, synergies, and other critical outcomes.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the integration process by leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance integration efficiency and support a broader range of deal types, complexities & archetypes.
  • Partner with Corporate Development Team & GP&T leads to build and mature the MA&D community, ensuring alignment with Tech & Data risk profiles and dependencies.
  • Optimize resource allocation through rightsizing, outsourcing, and SOW contracting to build future-ready capabilities.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent while embedding a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading M&A integration projects within a globally matrixed technology organization
  • Demonstrated work history of change management and communication skills - able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to manage expectations and address concerns
  • History of managing diverse project portfolios (including program & project management), ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives, and delivering quantifiable value
  • Experience in managing cultural integration and fostering a unified company culture
  • Expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Deep understanding of technology and data integration/separation in the context of corporate transactions
  • Ability to define and & track performance metrics and KPIs, with a track record driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, & manage stakeholder relationships

Preferred:

  • Extensive leadership experience in managing complex MA&D initiatives in global firms
  • Extensive leadership experience in Portfolio, Program and Project management, including both insourced and outsourced teams
  • Extensive expertise in infrastructure and data integration/separation projects and programs
