Are you a natural connector who loves networking, building relationships, and making a real difference in people’s lives? At CoAct, we’re on a mission to help people find meaningful employment, and we’re looking for an Employment Engagement Officer who can bring energy, creativity, and drive to our team.
Exploring The Role
In this role you will be the face of CoAct in the community. You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with employers by visiting them onsite, understanding their hiring needs, and matching them with suitable candidates. To succeed in this role, you’ll deliver sustainable employment placements while meeting performance targets and contributing to positive community impact.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building strong pipelines of job-ready candidates through active community engagement.
- Creating and nurturing employer partnerships by networking, attending events, and visiting employers at their workplaces
- Promoting CoAct at networking events, industry forums, and community initiatives.
- Translating employer hiring needs into tailored recruitment solutions.
- Achieving sustainable job placements that meet performance targets while changing lives.

- Resilient, optimistic, and able to remain solution-focused under pressure.
- Proven ability to achieve KPIs and drive positive results.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to meet and exceed goals.
- Confident in working independently while contributing effectively to a remote and collaborative team environment.
- A creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on outcomes.
- Skilled at building authentic, professional relationships with candidates, employers, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in Employment Services (e.g., DES, Workforce Australia) or a similar customer-focused recruitment role is highly regarded.
