Full time Fruit & Veg Shop Assistant

As a Fruit & Veg Shop Assistant, you’ll be on the front line of our fresh produce department – ensuring our displays are abundant, fresh, and inviting. You’ll assist customers with their fruit and vegetable needs, maintain stock levels, and uphold the high standards Harris Farm is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenishing and rotating fruit and vegetable stock throughout the day
• Maintaining fresh and attractive displays in line with store standards
• Assisting customers with product enquiries and selection
• Monitoring quality and removing any items that don’t meet standards
• Ensuring the department is clean, safe, and well-organised
• Maintaining the back of house coolrooms and stock rooms

About You

• Passion for fresh food and customer service
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Physically fit – able to lift and move produce boxes
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Previous experience in retail or fruit & veg is a plus, but not essential
