The hourly range for this position is $50/hr - $58/hr based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience. 

About The Role:

The TEMP-Global/NA Marketing Manager supports the Global Marketing team to fuel brand love, new client acquisition, and business growth around the globe.  You will be responsible for owning, creating and executing innovative, cost-effective, and best-in-class 360 brand marketing strategies and plans for Fenty Skin. This role serves as a key strategic Marketing liaison to KENDO cross-functional partners, Sephora cross-channel partners, vendors, and agencies. You will support aspects of Global campaign planning with a specific focus on planning and executing marketing strategies for the North America market.   

The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in marketing, with significant experience in beauty and skincare marketing and experience across all marketing touch points with proven success of developing insightful, impactful marketing campaigns and strategies. Paid social media experience is a must. Some travel may be required for activations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Development: Support team in developing the overall Fenty Skin marketing strategy and multi-faceted 360 marketing plans across functions/channels.
  • Manage marketing activations, including but not limited to:
  • Advertising – social, digital, out of home, experiential – with media agency and internal affiliates
  • Fenty Skin inclusion in retailer channel marketing – single and multi-branded animations and campaigns
  • Social Media Strategy – collaborating with Fenty Skin Social team, pitching for Sephora social channel inclusion, and Fenty Beauty channel cross collaboration
  • PR communication strategy, plan, and material development
  • Develop framework of content strategy and assist in creation – including video content, influencer marketing, and brand ambassadors
  • Work collaboratively with internal dotcom team to ensure aligned support for marketing plans
  • Sponsorships and Partnerships
  • Promotions and/or Sampling strategy partnership
  • Retailer store events and brand-led events
  • Campaign collateral (bounce backs, signage, fliers, etc. as needed)
  • Cultivate and apply a keen understanding of the brand’s business, priorities, and overall skincare category.
  • Communicate to and educate peer-level team members on approved plans and help ensure the plan stays the course, while being flexible to course-correct should the business needs change.
  • Develop presentations to communicate marketing strategy and plans with the purpose of getting internal buy-in and buy-in from leadership and retail partners.
  • Write briefs and motivate cross-functional teams at kick-off.
  • Manage and allocate budgets across marketing levers; own tracking spend and approvals on spending.
  • Analyze data and new trends to develop insights that generate ideas for the brand.
  • Lead the creation of NA Marketing campaign recaps.
  • Lead competitive analysis for product launches by pulling key competitor product content, trend, product marketing examples, category insights to inform marketing messaging and content.
  • Build strong relationships with Fenty Beauty and Fenty Hair Marketing teams, retailer marketing, and internal brand and sales partners.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in global marketing on brand and/or agency side
  • BA degree or equivalent experience; retail experience preferred (skincare experience strongly preferred)
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the beauty industry.
  • Experience creating marketing plans that are paid social/digital led. Event activation experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of social channels from paid media perspective - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to deliver strong, polished, effective PowerPoint presentations.
  • Effective relationship-building skills; professional savvy and organizational agility to leverage partnerships across the organization to get work done.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills; ability to anticipate obstacles and also quickly generate alternate solutions/ideas.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented.
  • Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Honed presentation skills; confidence in presenting in multiple forums, including senior leadership level.
  • Employs a strategic approach to process; ability to organize and divvy up work effectively.
  • Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach; personable and flexible with demands and changes in business.
