Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Analysis & Incident Response: Detect, assess, and resolve security incidents.
• Awareness: Train internal IT teams to strengthen security awareness.
• Security Concepts: Develop and implement security frameworks for Windows, Cloud, and SaaS environments (Entra ID, M365, AWS).
• Architecture & Standards: Ensure the security of AD/Entra ID, support the development of a Zero Trust architecture, and create policies and documentation.
• Collaboration: Coordinate external partners, contribute to ISO 27001 implementation, and support Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery.
• Risk Management & Monitoring: Continuously evaluate IT security, prepare reports, and drive improvements.
• First Response: Act as the first point of contact for local security incidents.

Your Profile

• Degree in IT Security, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Cyber Security, IT Support, or IT Administration.
• Solid knowledge of Cloud Security (AWS, M365), Endpoint Security (Defender/Sophos), and SIEM (Splunk).
• Basic knowledge of IAM, EDR/XDR, and scripting (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructures, processes, and secure software development.
• Excellent communication skills, team spirit, self-motivation, and assertiveness.
• Fluency in English is required; very good German skills are desirable but not required at native level.
• Initial experience with ISO 27001 is an advantage.
