About The Role
As a People and Culture Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our Learning and Development Manager to design and deliver initiatives that build capability, engagement, and career growth across the organisation. You will be hands-on in shaping learning programs, coordinating sessions, and helping to embed a culture of continuous learning.
A key part of your role will include actively participating in our onboarding inductions, ensuring new employees have a positive, engaging start to their journey with us. You will also contribute to the delivery of our current recurring and ad hoc training programs to support ongoing learning and development across the organisation. Alongside your L&D focus, you’ll provide generalist people support, advising leaders on everyday HR matters, assisting with recruitment, and driving process improvements that enhance the employee experience.
What You’Ll Do
Learning & Development
- Support the design and delivery of learning programs, workshops, and training aligned with business needs
- Facilitate engaging presentations and sessions for employees and leaders
- Coordinate L&D activities including scheduling, logistics, and participation tracking
- Assist in developing e-learning and blended learning content
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Partner with leaders to identify learning needs and propose tailored solutions
- Participate in onboarding inductions to ensure new employees have an engaging start
People & Culture
- Provide HR advice and guidance on policies, procedures, and employee lifecycle matters
- Support recruitment, onboarding, contracts, probation, and performance processes
- Assist with employee relations matters, escalating complex issues when required
- Maintain HR systems, records, and reporting to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Contribute to process improvements and organisational culture initiatives
- Champion the effective use of digital and AI-enabled tools to streamline HR and L&D activities
What You’Ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in a HR generalist or advisory role, with exposure to L&D
- Proven ability to design, deliver, and facilitate engaging training and workshops
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid understanding of HR principles, processes, and employment legislation
- Confidence using HRIS and LMS platforms (e.g. Employment Hero, GO1), with openness to adopting digital and AI-enabled tools
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded)
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage priorities across both HR and L&D activities
