So, what duties can you expect in this role?

  • Work in a team managing payroll for 550+ employees and growing
  • Use Employment Hero – Sol Time (Automated) for payroll processing
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with awards, EBAs, and legislation
  • Handle superannuation, PAYG, and other statutory obligations
  • Maintain employee payroll records and respond to queries
  • Assist with payroll reporting and audits for management
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Provide payroll support during company growth and expansion
  • Work full time from our Seven Hills office, Monday to Friday
  • Coordinating uniform and safety gear orders for new and existing employees.
  • Assist with general HR administration tasks and support the HR team projects as required
  • Processing new starters, inductions, terminations, leave, and timesheet data though Employment Hero

What are we looking for?

  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
  • Experience with Employment Hero would be ideal, but not required
  • Previous experience with large headcounts, ideally 500+ staff
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, and compliance
  • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • A team player who can work independently when required
