Graduate Database Geologist

As a Graduate Geologist - Database you will be part of a passionate team working a lifestyle DIDO roster, 4:3 days. This permanent graduate level opportunity will report to the Geology Database Administrator and be a vital member of the Mining Geology and Exploration Departments.

Key Responsibilities Include

• An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.
• Data management of active exploration and mining activities
• Daily monitoring, validation and quality assessment of mining, drilling and assay data
• Complete periodic reporting and sampling studies
• Assist the geology team with various tasks and projects as required

About You

• Degree in Geology with a desire to work in data management
• Residency or similar status to work in Australia
• Punctual and reliable with a willingness to learn.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
• Well organised and have the ability to work independently
• Hold a valid Australian manual C class driver's license
• Exposure to geological relational database systems such as Datashed would be beneficial
• Exposure to GIS software such as QGIS would be beneficial
