Reports to Chief Delivery Officer

Duties And Responsibilities:

Project Financial Performance & Cost Control

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and actuals for projects/programs.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to align schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Analyze COGS and cost drivers; identify risks and efficiency opportunities.
  • Maintain EAC/ETC and financial baselines.
  • Drive proactive cost management with program and engineering teams.

Forecasting, Pricing & SIOP Alignment

  • Align forecasts with Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP).
  • Improve forecasting accuracy and integrate operational insights.
  • Conduct pricing analysis for new business and program changes.
  • Develop cost models for strategic planning.

Executive Reporting & Data Analytics

  • Produce data-driven reports and dashboards for executives.
  • Use Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel for analytics.
  • Ensure clarity and consistency in portfolio reporting.

Erp & Systems

  • Leverage QAD ERP for cost tracking; experience with SAP, Oracle, Deltek, Workday is valued.
  • Support system integration and process improvements.

Governance, Compliance & Change Management

  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, EVM, FAR/DFARS, ITAR.
  • Support pricing/cost analysis for change orders and contract modifications.
  • Participate in audits and governance reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Program Managers and stakeholders across Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Influence teams to support data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and foster teamwork.

AiTech offers a competitive total rewards package aligned with the individual’s skills, knowledge, and experience, and in line with both internal standards and external market practices. The expected annual salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 a year.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor’s in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related; 7+ years in project cost control/finance in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing; strong analytics and ERP experience.
  • Preferred: Master’s (MBA/MS), certifications (PMP, AACE CCP, Six Sigma), SIOP/pricing/proposal support, aerospace contract/government compliance knowledge.

  • Data Analytics: Ability to analyze and visualize financial and operational data for leadership insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communicator who can partner effectively with PMO, Program Managers, Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
  • ERP & System Adaptability: Experience navigating and optimizing data across various enterprise platforms.
  • Executive Communication: Capable of distilling complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident per ITAR).
