As a Customer Technical Project Manager at Nokia, you will be at the forefront of shaping advanced 5G and IMS solutions for Japan's MNOs and MVNOs.   • Design and implement 5G Core and IMS solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for both Option 2 and 3X platforms, ensuring alignment with market positioning.
  • Utilize expertise in 5G Core, IMS, and cloud technologies to facilitate successful integrations and operations.
  • Collaborate with project leads and engineering teams to troubleshoot complex 5G/IMS call flows and optimize performance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor during deployment activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success.
  • Provide technical guidance in RFI and RFP responses, showcasing Nokia’s capabilities to potential clients.
  • Mentor junior team members and act as a technical resource for sales teams during customer discussions.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge in telecom and cloud technologies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving industry.

You Have:

  • Proficiency in both Japanese & English level is a must.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Telecom projects from an end-to-end perspective
  • Strong knowledge of 5G Core, SDM, and IMS products
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Proficient in troubleshooting 5G/IMS call flows and using tools like Wireshark

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience in Cloud-based technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, and VMware
  • Familiarity with OSS/BSS technologies, including Zabbix and Prometheus
  • Knowledge of HTTP2 and various 5G interfaces
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with customers
