Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and reconciliation of payroll transactions.
  • Support the payroll team in maintaining accurate employee records, including timekeeping and attendance data.
  • Help verify payroll calculations and deductions to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Assist with responding to employee payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Participate in audits and payroll reporting to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance, to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
  • Assist in researching payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Support payroll documentation and filing for internal and external reporting purposes.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the payroll team.

What is Nokia looking from me:

  • Basic knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and tax regulations is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with payroll software is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
