Job Summary

The Club Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. The role ensures that each guest enjoys a warm, personalized, and seamless experience while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service. The manager leads and develops the team, oversees all food and beverage offerings, and drives operational excellence with a focus on service quality, guest recognition, and financial performance.

We are seeking a strong people leader with proven experience in guest-centric service environments such as luxury hotels, premium restaurants, or airlines. The ideal candidate combines excellent leadership skills with solid food and beverage knowledge, including wine service, and a keen sense of financial discipline.

Education And Experience

  • Leadership experience in luxury hospitality or other guest-service-driven industries such as upscale restaurants, cruise lines, or airlines.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations with confidence in wine service and etiquette.
  • Skilled at motivating and developing teams to achieve high standards of service and performance.
  • Financially savvy with experience in managing costs, streamlining operations, and improving efficiency.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in anticipating guest and operational needs.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Flexible to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Club Lounge, ensuring service consistently reflects The Ritz-Carlton Credo and Three Steps of Service.
  • Build meaningful relationships with VIP and returning guests, recognizing preferences and anticipating needs to create memorable experiences.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to the team to maintain exceptional standards of courtesy, efficiency, and service consistency.
  • Oversee all food and beverage services, including afternoon tea, evening hors d’oeuvres, and wine service, maintaining impeccable presentation, hygiene, and food safety standards.
  • Monitor food and beverage costs, control inventory, and achieve revenue and control expenses without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Culinary team on menu planning and presentation, and with Rooms Division to coordinate guest recognition, arrivals, and departures.
  • Address guest concerns promptly, using problem-resolution processes to ensure full satisfaction and recovery. 
  • Maintain the ambiance, cleanliness, and appearance of the Lounge to reflect a refined, luxury residential environment.
  • Support employee engagement by fostering a positive work culture, recognizing performance, and encouraging professional development.
