Senior/Lead Ruby on Rails Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior/Lead Ruby on Rails Engineer to join an insurance-focused project.

Responsibilities

• Lead backend development with Ruby on Rails, ensuring scalability and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Address architectural challenges and ensure best practices in backend development
• Work with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Contribute to technical decisions, mentoring, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4 years using Ruby on Rails
• Strong understanding of backend concepts, architectural issues, and HTTP protocols
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (preferably AWS) is a plus
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English
