Reports to: Regional Manager
The Property Manager - Student at PeakMade Real Estate is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of our student housing properties, ensuring a vibrant community for residents while maximizing property performance. This role involves strategic planning, effective team management, and exceptional customer service to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a passion for enhancing the student living experience.
What You’Ll Do:
Personnel Management:
- Recruit, hire, and train a capable on-site team to maintain high standards of service
- Conduct regular staff training and development sessions to enhance team performance
Leasing And Marketing:
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies tailored to the student demographic
- Oversee the leasing process, ensuring all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Foster positive relationships with local colleges and universities to attract new residents
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor and manage the property’s budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility without compromising quality
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the Regional Manager and stakeholders
- Drive initiatives to increase revenue streams while maintaining competitive pricing
Resident Relations:
- Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and effectively
- Coordinate resident events and community-building activities that foster a positive living experience
Compliance And Risk Management:
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to property management
- Manage safety programs and conduct regular property inspections to proactively identify potential hazards

Requirements
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on student housing being highly desirable
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proven ability to create and maintain positive resident relations
- Proficiency in property management software, preferably Entrata
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
