Reports to: Regional Manager

The Property Manager - Student at PeakMade Real Estate is tasked with overseeing the daily operations of our student housing properties, ensuring a vibrant community for residents while maximizing property performance. This role involves strategic planning, effective team management, and exceptional customer service to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a passion for enhancing the student living experience.

What You’Ll Do:

Personnel Management:

  • Recruit, hire, and train a capable on-site team to maintain high standards of service
  • Conduct regular staff training and development sessions to enhance team performance

Leasing And Marketing:

  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies tailored to the student demographic
  • Oversee the leasing process, ensuring all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and timely
  • Foster positive relationships with local colleges and universities to attract new residents

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor and manage the property’s budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility without compromising quality
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to the Regional Manager and stakeholders
  • Drive initiatives to increase revenue streams while maintaining competitive pricing

Resident Relations:

  • Ensure a high level of resident satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and effectively
  • Coordinate resident events and community-building activities that foster a positive living experience

Compliance And Risk Management:

  • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to property management
  • Manage safety programs and conduct regular property inspections to proactively identify potential hazards

Requirements

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on student housing being highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven ability to create and maintain positive resident relations
  • Proficiency in property management software, preferably Entrata
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
