Strategy Manager

We are seeking an experienced Strategy Manager to join Icelandair’s newly established Strategy & Transformation team. This role is pivotal in supporting the Executive Committee and senior stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute Icelandair’s corporate strategy, drive strategic projects, and deliver long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and define Icelandair’s corporate strategy and set organizational priorities with key stakeholders
• Lead strategic projects, ensuring alignment with long-term goals
• Prepare analyses, presentations, and recommendations for the executive management and the Board
• Identify and evaluate business development opportunities
• Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decisions
• Collaborate with leaders across the business to translate strategy into action
• Drive cross-functional workshops and problem-solving sessions to accelerate decision-making

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field and/or 3+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in strategy and business case development
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
• Confident in working directly with senior stakeholders
• Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships across functions
