Position Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic and operational HR partner to leaders across APCO’s MENA offices. This role supports business leaders and employees by driving the execution of key HR initiatives across the full employee lifecycle. The HRBP will lead efforts in onboarding, engagement, performance, learning, compensation, and daily HR operations, while ensuring alignment with global standards and local compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Hr Contributions

  • Ensure that HR strategy implementation is aligned with business goals and regional priorities.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Drive culture-building and employee experience initiatives.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding across MENA.
  • Ensure smooth visa processing, induction, and off-boarding process.
  • Coordinate with global mobility and admin teams for regional and global transfers.

Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Design and implement engagement strategies tailored to local offices.
  • Monitor employee sentiment and recommend actions to improve engagement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employees helping to address concerns and feedback

Grievance & Conflict Management

  • Lead investigations and remediation processes.
  • Ensure fair and timely resolution of grievances.
  • Promote a culture of transparency and trust.

Learning & Development

  • Assess training needs and coordinate programs with global L&D.
  • Support onboarding events and leadership development.
  • Track training participation, participant feedback, and overall effectiveness.

Performance Management

  • Facilitate annual performance cycles and goal-setting.
  • Coach managers on feedback and development conversations.
  • Ensure alignment with global frameworks and timelines.

Career Development

  • Support employees in building personalized development plans.
  • In partnership with managers, promote structured career pathways and internal growth.
  • Track progress and impact of development initiatives.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily HR operations including payroll coordination, benefits, and VIA updates.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and APCO policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and reporting dashboards. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in multinational or consulting environments.
  • Strong knowledge of GCC labor laws and HR practices.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, L&D, performance, and compensation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems.
  • Willingness to travel across MENA and work flexible hours.
