Lead Marine Engineer

About The Role:

1. Coordination with Client and other disciplines. 
2. Prepare marine design basis and marine engineering specifications, marine engineering studies and other deliverables.
3. Performing and reviewing marine structural analysis and calculations and implementing local government regulations and industry codes and standards.
4. Reviewing and approving marine engineering deliverables.
5. Supervise third party consultants related to marine activities.
6. Setting up of bill of quantities or material take off (MTO) for marine works.
7. Support engineering & construction review activities & support cost estimates activities. 

Starting Date: Immediately.

About You:

1.  1. Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering or Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
2. At least 15 years of work experience in oil and gas industry, at least 10 (ten) years' experience in Marine and structural discipline with experience of one (1) completed project from FEED through EPC and at least five (5) years' experience as Lead Structural/Lead Marine Engineer.
3. Has experience in design LNG/Condensate Jetty and wharf. 
4. Extensive experience in FEED & EPC projects activities related to structural design of LNG Plants. Proficient knowledge and working experience of Marine and structural design involved with all phases of projects from FEED to detail engineering and through to construction and pre-commissioning, project management and QC controls and procedures relating to structural engineering.
5. Working knowledge of design software such as SASC, USFOS, GRLWEAP, MOSES and STAAD Pro and other design software related to structural design.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedule.
