As an Account Manager on Ipsos’ Observer team, you will manage online/quantitative projects while providing support on the day-to-day responsibilities associated with multiple and concurrent studies. You will work directly with clients, providing them with a high level of service while executing a variety tasks in a fast-paced environment.
What you can expect to be doing:
Perform a combination of the following duties according to departmental guidelines:
- Manages studies including questionnaire formatting, sample selection, fieldwork monitoring, quota monitoring, banner/tab plans, and data delivery
- Checks data deliverables for accuracy (data tables, SPSS, etc.)
- Works on multiple tasks/studies simultaneously
- Promotes business growth from current accounts through successful project execution
- Responsible for project financials-- reconciliation, managing costs and margins, billing, etc.
- Participates/leads in client communications
- Ensures tasks are completed on time and efficiently
- Keeps manager informed of progress for each study, and escalates issues as needed
- Communicates effectively with operations staff
- Develops working knowledge of NextWorkbench, iQuote/Jobbook, Survey Reporter, idReports and other internal systems
- Proofing online programs for accuracy, look and feel, logic, etc.
This might be the job for you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent in experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in market research industry
- Excellent project management and client service skills
- Demonstrated research expertise and experience with working directly with clients
- Knowledge of data deliverables- including SPSS, and tabulated data
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a high standard of performance
- Strong leadership competency, drive to succeed and willingness to learn
- Ability to balance priorities of simultaneous projects and demands – willing to ‘wear many hats’
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize, handle and see survey research projects through completion
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems
- Possesses exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships - internally and externally
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
