How will you make an impact in this role?

  • This is a highly visible role, where you will be influencing change across a global organization, standing up a best-in-class operating model, and working with partners across all levels of Technology and Product.

  • Responsible for the International Consumer Issuing Portfolio, the Portfolio Manager will report directly to the Director of the Global Consumer Portfolio and will work with senior Technology and business leaders to manage the Investment for the International Consumer Portfolio.
  • The successful candidate will have deep investment analytics and financial management experience, relentless attention to detail, executive presentation experience, and the ability to build and leverage positive relationships with the team and partners.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Partner with the Portfolio Director to help define, plan, and build the technology investments for the International Consumer Portfolio.
  • Manage day-to-day Portfolio activities such as financial modelling and data trending, risk identification and mitigation.
  • Drive delivery by creating and maintaining a comprehensive view of the organization’s tech investments.
  • Build strong partnerships with technology, product, finance, and business stakeholders to maintain and deliver against technology roadmaps.
  • Design, socialize, and implement portfolio insights standards to support senior leaders in actively managing portfolio risks, and identifying mitigation actions which may be required.
  • Collaborate effectively and build key relationships with stakeholder teams to identify and manage milestones and overall plan.
  • Promote awareness and transparency by keeping stakeholders informed of key decisions and status.
  • Support development of change management initiatives, implementation strategy, and enabling tools/processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or another related field.
  • 5+ years Portfolio or Program Management experience and leading complex strategic or transformation initiatives in a large technology organization.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to mediate and influence without authority, advanced or expert Excel, PowerPoint and visual presentation skills to clearly communicate, at all levels, in verbal and written form.
  • Excellent at building relationships and inspiring others.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Ability to host meetings, create agendas, maintain clear meeting notes, follow up to ensure others complete their assigned actions.
  • Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to spot problems before they arise, find solutions, and provide timely follow-through.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of the big picture.
  • Ability to execute and maintain high performance under tight timeline.
  •    Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Working knowledge of software development processes and Agile methodologies; experience with modern approaches preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Literacy in financial modeling/analysis; should be able to connect strategy to financial results.
  • Salary Range: $103,750.00 to $174,750.00 annually + bonus + benefits
